The purpose of this paper is to find out what makes leadership effective and why servant leadership is more effective than transformational leadership. One of the characteristics of servant leadership is understanding what leads to higher trust with the employees. Therefore, servant leadership has a stronger relationship with trust than transformational leadership. For the focus of this research, the topics of organizational citizenship behaviors, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention will all be discussed.
