The novels of Ernest Hemingway have always held a great appeal for me, especially For Whom the Bell Tolls. The simplicity of the emotions and universality of the themes of this novel have interested me since the first reading. I was curious as to how this novel was formed and how the technique was reached, and decided to do research in this direction for this thesis.en_US
