This research is an investigation focused on creativity in the workplace and how to effectively bolster it amongst employees. Creativity has been linked to higher job satisfaction, lower retention rates, and higher job performance. Therefore the purpose of this study is to consider the abstracts of creativity and how they affect employees while also looking at the different tools used to measure it. Areas discussed that impact creativity include leadership, motivation, personality, climate/culture, and mindfulness. By understanding the different antecedents that impact motivations, managers can more readily manipulate those antecedents to better create an environment where creativity can thrive. These considerations will benefit organizations by increasing their bottom line and make sure they stay on the cutting edge of their industryen_US
