| dc.description.abstract | The current study investigated the effect of mood on performance evaluations. Mood (happy or sad) was induced using a series of self-referent statements. After the mood induction, subjects viewed a 15 minute videotaped performance of a teacher in a classroom setting, then evaluated that performance. Support was found for the possibility that mood does influence performance evaluations. However, no support was found for differential effects of mood on memory sensitivity or response bias. | en_US |
