Abstract:
This study examines and critically evaluates women figures in Robert Frost's poetry. The lives and personalities of the women who influ3nced Frost are noted and reviewed. In order to facilitate analysis, representative women characters in the poems are classified into three groups--the initiated, the obsessed, and the perceptive woman. To demonstrate Frost's artistic achievements, each of these fictive women is discussed in terms of the poetic form of the work in which she appears.
